About Ricky

I have lived in Dothan for almost all of my life. I was born here. This is home. I may travel and visit many other places, but it always feels good to be home. I know this area very well and have witnessed the rapid growth of Dothan and the surrounding cities and towns. It amazes me when I see how much has changed in my lifetime.

I love the people of this area. We help each other when we can. I guess I grew up with that belief instilled within me. I enjoy making others happy and I will use my God given talents to do my best to help others and bring joy into their lives.

Many know me as "The Christmas Lights Guy". Years ago, on a family trip to Walt Disney World during the Christmas Season, we were watching the many lights on the buildings flickering to the music played throughout the park. Our children asked me if I could create something like that at our home. I promised them that I would try. I started with one controller and a few hundred lights all flickering to music. Now, fifteen years later, I control over one hundred thousand lights on four different homes! Our show has grown into a yearly event for thousands of people throughout the wiregrass who visit each year. God has blessed me with the ability to create something that has given joy to so many families and I am thankful for that opportunity. Watching and listening the squeals and laughter from the children, including my own grandchildren is one of my greatest joys. 

Now I have another opportunity to help people. I want to be the person who assists people who are seeking a place to call home, whether that is through purchasing a home or selling their home, so they can begin a new stage of their lives. My desire is to make these transitions as easy and as stress-free as possible.  Give me the opportunity. Give me the chance to make your life happier.
